On behalf of the SHA Board of Directors I would like to advise the membership of the SHA of the formation of a new Female Hockey League in the southern half of the province, the South Sask Female Hockey League. The League will be focused on two age groups; Bantam and Midget, with two divisions of Midget hockey available for teams to be a member of.

At the present time the following Associations have made commitments to the League for the 2009/10 season in the following Divisions;

Midget AA                                                                 Midget A/B

Regina (2 teams) - Bantam AA and Midget AA          Regina (3 teams)

Moose Jaw                                                               Moose Jaw

Swift Current                                                            Assiniboia

Wood River                                                               Fort Qu'Appelle

Weyburn                                                                   Weyburn

Prairie Storm                                                             Estevan

Notre Dame                                                              Swift Current

Bantam

Estevan                       Yellow Grass        Fort Qu'Appelle

Wood River                 Swift Current        Prairie Storm
