Saskatchewan's Kole Lind Among 32 Selected to Attend World Jr. Camp
Wednesday, Dec. 6th, 2017 - Hockey Canada announced the thirty-two (32) players chosen to attend the selection camp for Team Canada ahead of the 2018 IIHF World Junior Championship. Of those thirty-two (32) selected; four (4) goaltenders, ten (10) defencemen and eight-teen (18) forwards will compete for the twenty-two (22) positions that make up Team Canada.
Saskatchewan's own, Kole Lind (Shaunavon) was among the forwards selected to take part in camp on December 12-15 in St. Catherines, Ontario. This will be Kole's first attempt at making the Junior team, Kole's previous experience with international compeition was a mini-series with Team Western Hockey League (WHL) as they took on Team Russia in the Canada-Russia Series. In two (2) games, Kole posted two (2) goals along with one (1) assist in that series.
