SHA Education Grant Winners Announced for 2018-19

Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 – Each season, the Saskatchewan Hockey Association (SHA) awards scholarship grants to a minimum of eleven (11) SHA members that either play, coach or officiate hockey in Saskatchewan. These recipients are recognized for their achievement in academics while participating in hockey.

During the 2018-19 season, a total of twenty-eight applications were received in the following categories; SHA zones one to eight (player/coach/official), Midget AAA registered player, Female registered player, Junior/Senior registered player and the BF Lorenzetti. The winners of the 2018-19 Hockey Education Assistance Grants will be awarded $1000.00 each, to go towards costs of tuition or textbooks at a post-secondary school in Saskatchewan.
