We look forward to welcoming new officials and returning officials to the SHA’s Referee Division for the 2017-18 season.
The registration process will be available for all officials in August so please check back under the Registration tab at that time.
To register for the 2017-18 season all officials (new, returning and ACOP) will need to complete the online registration with their information and complete the registration fee online via credit card or pay pal.
Following the completion of registration, officials will need to complete the online modules. There are two separate modules (Junior 17 & Under and Senior 18+). All online modules must be completed prior to attending any clinic.
After completion of the online modules officials can sign up for a clinic. The SHA hosts 85 clinics across Saskatchewan between the dates of Sept. 17 and Nov. 27. There is no limit to the number of participants at a clinic, but we encourage that the registration and online modules are complete a week prior to attending a clinic.
After attending a clinic officials will need to contact their local associations/assignors and start working games.
*Note all officials registered for the 2016-17 season are certified to work games up until December 7, 2017. After that date, if an official has not recertified for the 2017-18 season they will not be permitted to officiate any hockey games.
