HOW TO APPLY
The SHA Referee’s Division shall award three (3) $1,000.00 Bursaries each hockey season to three registered officials of the SHA Referee’s Division as follows:
1 – SODM (Saskatchewan Officiating Development Model) official working Elite hockey
1 – Northern official (Zones 5-8) working grassroots hockey
1 – Southern official (Zones 1-4) working grassroots hockey
Each applicant will be required to fill out and return an application form to the SHA Office (Attn: Manager, Officiating) before the registration deadline of each hockey season. Each applicant will be placed into one of the three pools and one name will be drawn from each pool to receive the bursary. The draw will be completed at the Semi-Annual Meeting of the Referee’s Division. Only completed applications will be considered for the draw.
The recipients of the bursaries will be selected and announced following the Semi-Annual Meeting of the Referee’s Division in January of each hockey season.

The applicant must meet all of the following criteria:
- Must be attending post-secondary education in Saskatchewan including university, trade, or technical schools that require tuition to be paid.
- Must be a member in good standing with the Referee’s Division.
- Recipients may only receive the bursary once.
